We know the value of exposing children to various languages during these early years and have made our classroom a place to see, hear and speak Spanish throughout the day. The classrooms are labeled in both English and Spanish. We primarily introduce Spanish into the classroom through transition phrases and our monthly Spanish song, which is featured in our family newsletter each week, so you can practice at home too!

When children learn “whole language” and not just isolated vocabulary, they remember and are able to use the words the word they learned. This is the key to successful language immersion. Children will be learning songs in both Spanish and English that relate to all the topics we cover throughout the year. We also will be reading books in Spanish on occasion as well and frequently will play spanish stories or music during some of the snack times.
