Summer Program
Option for 2 Day (Tu/Th), 3 Day (MWF) or 5 Day M-F
We are proud to offer a Summer Option from 7:30 AM-5:30 PM (M-Th) and 7:30 AM-3:00 PM on Friday's from June-August at our Main Dundee location for children from 3 to 7 years old! This is a fun discovery-summer-themed based program that allows children to have fun peer to peer learning environment with exploration, routine, and outdoor fun on two different playgrounds! We also have a sweet preschool bunny "Jasmine" and edible garden beds for the kids!
Preschool Class-Dundee
Option for 2 Day (Tu/Th), 3 Day (MWF) or 5 Day M-F (limited)
Our Preschool Class is for children ages 3-4, just beginning their early childhood education. This is a great introduction to preschool. In our Preschool class we currently only offer a full day option at the Dundee location. We do offer a rest time, after lunch around 12:00-12:15 (up to 2:15 PM, if they fall asleep).
Pre-K Class-Dundee
Option for 2 Day (Tu/Th), 3 Day (MWF) or 5 Day M-F (limited)
Our Pre-K class is for children ages 4.5-6 and are preparing to enter Kindergarten the following Fall or K-2 graders that join this class during the summer months. The Pre-K program includes the academic foundations to get each child ready for Kindergarten and is a full day program.
In all of our classes, we maintain smaller groups of students, so we can truly focus on the specific needs of each child and prepare curriculum accordingly. Each class will have no more than 10 students. With the average size around 8 students. We do combine classes throuhout the day for different activities, but never have more than 16 children in the school at a time.
The morning session includes breakfast if your child arrives before 8:15 AM, mid-morning snack and lunch around 11:30 AM, we also offer an afternoon snack. We strive to serve local & organic snacks and meals with our seasonal menu.
You can drop off as early as 7:30 AM, with curriculum starting at 9:00 AM. Curriculum ends around 2:30 PM each day, after that there is story time, more Outdoor time, Learning Centers and Late Snack served. You may pick up anytime between 2:30-5:30 PM. Friday is pickup by 3:00 PM.
Children must be 3 years old and potty trained to start at either location.
Preschool "Trees" & Pre-K-"Rainbows" Class at The Good Life "U" in Newberg (September-May AM Only!)
Option for 2 Day (Tu/Th) Preschool Option, 3 Day (MWF) Pre-K Option
Our downtown Newberg location is out of the Chehalem Cultural Center is our half day morning program offering both Preschool and Pre-K classes. Children must be a minimum of 3 years old and potty trained. The Preschool class is two day program on T/Th's and the Pre-K program is on MWF, designed for Children who will be entering Kindergarten the following Fall.
Classes are held from 8:30 AM (drop off) to pickup by 12:30 PM. Children will receive all of the educational components that they would at our main location, but will be able to participate in walking field trips throughout the year to local fun places such as Critter Cabana, Police Department, Fire Department, Bakery, Cream Ice cream, JEM100 and other fun places with their peer group. Children will receive an organic/local snack during their session. Please have your child have breakfast before they join us since breakfast is not provided. They will also get to enjoy lunch with you after pickup, since lunch is not provided.
*Please note that children must be potty trained to attend our program at either location.
*Siblings get a 10% discount on the lower tuition amount and we do offer limited need based scholarships.
